Update, 9:30 p.m., March 19, 2019: Nearly a year later in an interview with TexAgs.com, kidney donor Ericka Downey detailed her journey alongside former A&M coach Billy Gillispie.
"It has been a blessing to be a part of Billy's journey over the past nine or ten months. I was happy to part of the process," Downey told TexAgs.com. "He appears to be as passionate as ever and is in good health."
