Texas A&M's offense hasn't been explosive through the air for quite a few years at this point. The Aggies suffered through some real offensive doldrums during the time of Jimbo Fisher's overly-complex scheme on that side of the ball, but even last year under Collin Klein, the aerial attack didn't have too much of a vertical element.
Of course, that vertical element is exactly what is needed in modern college football for a team to have success, so it's been a clear priority for the Aggies during this offseason to remedy those faults. There have already been some good reports on what A&M's retooled receiver room can accomplish, but a lot falls on the arm of Marcel Reed.
