Texas A&M football's season went down the pipes last year right when Le'Veon Moss went down with injury. The Aggies kept the game close for a half with South Carolina, but on the back of several failed fourth-and-short conversions— the kind at which Moss excels— they were eventually blown out by the Gamecocks.
Similar failures dotted the remainder of their losses, of course— for as much as the defense is to blame, it's hard not to think that the presence of Le'Veon would have bolstered this offense to a great degree. We knew his injury was serious from the moment it occurred— it looked bad on the sideline, and he was described as out for the year not long afterwards.
