COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M could use a couple of quality cornerbacks in new defensive coordinator John Chavis’s scheme starting in about a month, when the Aggies open their season against Arizona State on Sept. 5 in NRG Stadium in the Texas Kickoff.
They’ll have to wait another year, however, for at least one guy who fits the bill, as defensive back Priest Willis has announced he’s transferring from A&M to UCLA. Willis, a former Rivals four-star cornerback out of Arizona, has played the past two seasons with the Bruins, but didn’t appear to be making headway on the depth chart headed into this season.
