Commit roundup: OU pledges have monster games; future looks bright for Texas at QB

The Texas high school season is here, and that means commits from local colleges are making noise on the field.

Here is a look at how commits for each school fared over the weekend.

Baylor

-- Trinity Christian Cedar Hill running back Qualan Jones, a three-star prospect, rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns in a 23-19 victory over Bishop Lynch.

-- Round Rock Cedar Ridge wide receiver Jaylen Ellis, an Adidas All-American, recorded four receptions for 92 yards in a 45-25 loss to Temple.

-- Baylor's quarterback of the future, Jacob Zeno, completed 14-of-24 passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for 30 yards as he guided San Antonio Jay to a 45-29 win over Laredo LBJ.
