Texas A&M's idle weekend didn't do any favors, and in fact, the picture looks worse than it did just a few days ago when the bracket had them play against Notre Dame.
Texas A&M will play Miami in a day game on Saturday, December 20. Lots of fans won't be happy about that, but that's another story. The story here -- Texas A&M clearly has the toughest road to the College Football Playoff, and it doesn't take a village to realize that.
If they beat Miami, they have to play the defending champion Ohio State Buckeyes in a quarterfinal, only to potentially play Georgia in the semifinal.
