Bucky McMillan has been the million-dollar hire for Texas A&M basketball, as he officially picked up arguably the biggest recruit for Aggies basketball since Manny Obaseki back in 2021.
For McMillan to do this without coaching a game yet is pretty astonishing, and for Buzz Williams, he's probably punching air knowing that he had one of the best recruits in his own state that he couldn't reel in. Buzz wasn't really in the conversation much anyway, as four-star recruit Neiko Mundey committed to Texas A&M, becoming Bucky's first big recruit.
There were a pack of schools in the mix, like Texas A&M, USC and Texas.
