Texas A&M football coach Kevin Sumlin announced that running back Brandon Williams will be training this summer and early fall for the cornerback position. This may come as surprising news as Brandon Williams was a former five star running back coming out of Brookshire Royal. Williams contributed a total of 374 yards and three touchdowns on 86 attempts on the ground last year for the Aggies. Unfortunately, the teams biggest need this season is the cornerback position, according to defensive coordinator John Chavis. Brandon Williams definitely has the skill set to play both sides of the ball. Williams, at 6 foot even and weighing in right under 200 pounds has an average body frame for a collegiate running back, but put him in as a cornerback, now you add exceptional size on the defensive side of the ball.
