Brandon Carr: Cowboys' D won't let up against Bucs, going against former A&M WR Mike Evans will 'be a battle'

FRISCO -- The often-criticized Cowboys' defense is coming off of its best game of the season Sunday in New York.

Yes, the Cowboys lost. But the defense wasn't the issue. The Cowboys forced three turnovers, had three sacks and held the Giants to only 260 total yards and 10 points.

The defense's best game of the season followed another good outing the week before in a 17-15 win at Minnesota.

"We have been pretty consistent throughout this season," Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr said Wednesday. "I think we've been playing some dominant defense. The biggest thing is points allowed, and we've done a good job of keeping points off the board.
