We learned yesterday that Texas A&M would host an NCAA Tournament Regional, and today we learned what seed they landed, and who they’ll host at Olsen Field this weekend. The Aggies are the No. 5 national seed, and will host TCU, Louisiana and Oral Roberts beginning this Thursday.
The presence of TCU in this regional is particularly juicy, a the Horned Frogs have been a thorn in the Aggies’ postseason side for more than a decade. TCU defeated A&M on their way to winning the College Station Regional in 2012, beat the Aggies in Super Regionals in back-to-back years in 2015 and 2016, and beat them when both teams made it to the College World Series in 2017.
