Fred Kerley is one of 26 Aggies currently competing in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, and on Sunday, he became the first one of them to bring home a medal. Kerley made it to the final in the men’s 100 meters, and came away with the silver medal after a narrow defeat to Italy’s Lamont Marcell Jacobs.
Another Aggie, Athing Mu, will also look to be in medal contention in the women’s 800 meters, with the final taking place on Tuesday. Aug. 3.
