Here are five things Texas A&M fans need to know about Wake Forest before the two square off in the Belk Bowl on Dec. 29:
1) Up-and-down year
It has been a roller coaster of a season for the Demon Deacons. Wake Forest began 4-0 before dropping four of its next five games. Dave Clawson's squad managed to collect a few impressive wins, though.
The Demon Deacons played No. 1 Clemson and No. 14 Notre Dame close, both on the road. Wake Forest dropped 2016 Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson in a 42-32 victory over Louisville.
