Sumlin handling rumors
Throughout his tenure with the Aggies, Kevin Sumlin's garnered a lot of rumors. His early success with Johnny Manziel sparked speculation that he could depart for the NFL. In recent years, Sumlin's narrative has been about A&M potentially firing him.
"You know what you signed up for from the beginning," said Sumlin on this ever-changing narrative. "You control the narrative in your own space. It really doesn't matter what people say.
"I think moving from that topic to this team, I think it's very obvious that people in that building across the street in our locker room have a huge trust in what we do.
