While most people are eating and drinking on New Year’s Eve, the tennis world is busy and my photographer Jimmie48 is already at the Shenzhen Open where world No.1 Simona Halep, five-time Grand Slam winner Maria Sharapova, reigning Roland Garros champion Jelena Ostapenko and others are kicking off their 2018 season.
We’ve been eagerly awaiting to see which clothing sponsor Halep will have now that she’s left Adidas, but the answer is very disappointing, as she’s still wearing her Adidas apparel, only that the logo on her visor is blacked out, as you can see in one of the photos below.
