Tuesday at the Prague Open was super busy, since the tournament schedule had a lot of catching up to do due to Monday’s rain.
The highlight of the day was Simona Halep‘s return to action, as the Romanian is the first Top 10 player to play a WTA tournament since the tour’s resumption. The top seed won a see-saw marathon against Polona Hercog, converting her seventh match point for a 6-1 1-6 7-6(3) victory.
Slovenia’s Hercog used to be a notable representative of Hydrogen apparel before the corona break, while now she’s wearing NikeCourt.
