Current world No.1 and defending champion Iga Swiatek fought past former world No.1 and 2018 champion Karolina Pliskova 4-6 6-1 6-2 in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart.
Wearing the Fila Tie Breaker Cross Back Tank and Tie Breaker High Waist Skirt, Pliskova took a commanding lead of 4-0 in the opening set, leaving Swiatek with an uphill battle. Although Swiatek managed to break Pliskova’s serve once, she was unable to do it again and eventually lost the set.
