The USA’s team for the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Qualifying competition against Austria has been announced by the USTA and Billie Jean King Cup captain Kathy Rinaldi. The team comprises Jessica Pegula, Coco Gauff, Danielle Collins, Madison Keys and Caty McNally, who will compete at the Delray Beach Tennis Center in Delray Beach, Florida, on April 14-15.
Austria’s team will include world No.93 Julia Grabher, No.219 Sinja Kraus, No.468 Barbara Haas, No.528 Tamira Paszek and No.912 Melanie Klaffner, with Marion Maruska serving as captain.
The Billie Jean King Cup, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2023, is known as the ‘World Cup of Tennis,’ with over 100 nations participating each year.
