WIMBLEDON, England — Novak Djokovic defeated Nick Kyrgios in the Wimbledon final Sunday to win his 21st Grand Slam single title.
Djokovic seized control of the match late in the third set, then used his trademark mix of power and discipline to keep Kyrgios at bay to win, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (3).
The victory gave Djokovic his seventh men’s singles title at Wimbledon and his fourth in a row. He secured the trophy he cherishes more than any other in his 28th consecutive win at Wimbledon, his 39th consecutive win on Centre Court and in his 32nd Grand Slam final.
