Professional tennis players Mirjam Bjorklund of Sweden and Canada’s Denis Shapovalov have officially said “I do.” The couple exchanged vows in Zakynthos, Greece, choosing the breathtaking Lesante Cape Hotel as the setting for their four-day wedding celebration. Shortly after the big day, Bjorklund embraced her new chapter by updating her Instagram name to Mirjam Shapovalova.
The tennis duo first crossed paths in 2019, when Shapovalov spotted Bjorklund at the Stockholm Open, having recognized her from her photo on the cover of a magazine. What began with a conversation through her sister quickly turned into a friendship that blossomed into something much deeper.
