Vogue announced on November 3rd that Maria Sharapova is the face of designer Chitose Abe's NikeLab x Sacai collection, a new line that aims to fuse the comfort of active wear with style. Abe (pictured below) hopes to bring in classic Nike looks along with defining elements from her own Sacai label.
Instead of being overtly trendy and daring, however, the line's specialties include timeless wardrobe staples such as the cardigan or the windbreaker jacket. Variations in color, pleating, and silhouettes are what bring an innovative feel to the classic pieces.
