Jo-Wilfried Tsonga v Kei Nishikori suspended after part of roof falls in at French Open

The quarter-final match between Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France and Kei Nishikori of Japan had to be suspended after part of the roof blew off the Roland Garros stand.

At least one spectator appeared to have been injured after a large piece of metal came down in high winds on Court Philippe Chatrier.

Spectators helped lift the wreckage away from the crowd with Tsonga one set up and leading 5-2 in the second with play being held up for a good half-hour before it resumed.
