Maria Sharapova and her fiancé Alexander Gilkes have become parents to a baby boy named Theodore.
The retired tennis star gave birth two weeks before announcing the news on Instagram. The five-time Grand Slam champion welcomed her first child on July 1st, 2022. Her son’s name, Theodore, is of Greek origin and means “the gift of God”.
After giving herself some time to get accustomed to the role of being a mother, Sharapova shared the news with the world by posting a family photo on Friday and saying: “The most beautiful, challenging, and rewarding gift our little family could ask for.
