Ilie Nastase has been banned from official roles until 2021 by the International Tennis Federation.
The Romania captain has been sanctioned over his behaviour at the Fed Cup in April which left British number one Johanna Konta in tears.
Nastase swore at an umpire, insulted Konta, her captain Anne Keothavong and a journalist who reported his comments on Serena Williams' unborn child.
He will not be accredited for ITF events until 2019.
Grand Slam tournaments are not included within the sanction, as they lie outside the jurisdiction of the ITF.
Nastase has also been fined $10,000 (£7,700).
