Germany and Switzerland ended Saturday in Leipzig in a leveled fashion as both teams managed to win a singles match during their Fed Cup tie inside Leipzig’s exhibition center.
Both countries number one players delivered what the fans expected as Belinda Bencic’s victory over Andrea Petkovic was followed up by Angelique Kerber’s win over Timea Bacsinzky as the Australian Open champ celebrated a successful homecoming in front of more than 4000 fans.
