British number three Johanna Konta's impressive form ahead of Wimbledon continued with another surprise win at the Aegon International in Eastbourne.
World number 146 Konta beat Russia's eighth-ranked Ekaterina Makarova - a US Open semi-finalist last year - in a 6-2 6-4 second-round win.
It is the first time the Australian-born player, 24, has beaten a player ranked in the world's top 10.
