Now that Caroline Wozniacki is counting down the days of her professional tennis career, it’s a perfect occasion to share the Dane’s several childhood photos that I’ve been collecting over the last few years but haven’t added to my Little Tennis Stars series yet.
Caroline turned pro in 2005, at the age of 15. The above photo is from her first ever match on the WTA tour, a first-round against top seed and eventual champion Patty Schnyder at the Western & Southern Financial Group Women’s Open.
