After replacing Shenzhen with Guadalajara last year due to COVID-19 restrictions, the WTA is moving the year-end finale to Fort Worth, Texas in 2022.
The WTA Finals, the elite tennis tournament featuring the Top 8 singles players and doubles teams, will take place at the state-of-the-art Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, from October 31st to November 7th.
“The Dickies Arena and the city of Fort Worth has a proven track record of hosting world-class sporting and entertainment events, and we are excited to bring the WTA’s showpiece tournament back to the United States for the first time since 2005,” said Steve Simon, WTA Chairman and CEO.
