The start of the 2016 season turns out to be very busy when it comes to clothing sponsor switches. Just days after learning that Elina Svitolina left Ellesse for Nike, Julia Goerges announced that her apparel will no longer be Fila, but Asics, while at the Brisbane International Timea Bacsinszky wore Asics as well, and not her earlier sponsor Lacoste. That's not all! Even though Fila lost Goerges, the company signed a new big name, Karolina Pliskova. Wow, I don't remember we've ever had this many clothing sponsor changes in such a short period of time.
