World No.10 Dominika Cibulkova of Slovakia won her seventh career title and ensured a place in the elite BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore field by defeating Swiss world No.62 Victoria Golubic in the final of the Generali Ladies Linz.
The first set went with serve all the way until the eighth game, when the second-seeded Cibulkova converted her fifth break point and followed it up with an impressive and quick service game to straightforwardly win the set 6-3.
The second set started with an early charge of Cibulkova, who broke Golubic's serve at love to kick start a 3-1 lead, but the Swiss converted her first break point opportunity in the match and leveled to 3-3.
