Inspired performances by Katerina Siniakova and Marketa Vondrousova brought the U.S. Billie Jean King Cup team’s run in the 2022 Finals to an end on Friday night in Glasgow, as each won their singles matches to push the Czech Republic through to Saturday’s semifinals.

Though Taylor Townsend and Madison Keys ended the tie with a win in doubles, the American team will now play a Qualifying tie April 14-15 of next year.
