After losing to Naomi Osaka in the third round of last year’s US Open, American phenomenon Coco Gauff set up another meeting with the former world No.1 in the Australian Open last 32.
Defending champion Naomi Osaka defeated Zheng Saisai 6-2 6-4 in the second round. During the match, Osaka released her frustration by throwing her racquet on the floor and kicking it, while in the post-match press conference the Japanese joked:
My racquet just magically flew out of my hand. I couldn’t control it, I think that’s how I dealt with my frustration.
