Beatriz Haddad Maia gets provisional suspension for failed doping test

Brazilian world No.99 Beatriz Haddad Maia has been provisionally suspended for failing a doping test, as her urine sample taken on June 4th, during the Croatia Bol Open, was found to contain traces of prohibited substances known as SARM S-22 and SARM LGD-4033 metabolite.

Haddad Maia was charged with an Anti-Doping Rule Violation on July 12th, while the suspension went into effect on July 22nd. The WTA player can appeal the decision, but has chosen not to exercise that right to date. The suspension will remain provisional until a full hearing.
