Elina Svitolina produced a superb fightback to upset last year's finalist Jasmine Paolini in three sets and reach the French Open quarter-finals.
The Ukrainian 13th seed saved three match points in winning the second set before taking control and clinching a 4-6 7-6 (8-6) 6-1 win against the Italian fourth seed.
After reaching the last eight at Roland Garros for a fifth time, Svitolina will face defending champion Iga Swiatek or 12th seed Elena Rybakina.
"I still cannot believe this match finished my way. I still feel my head is in the match and in a big battle," said Svitolina.
