Jil Teichmann‘s fairytale run continues at the Western & Southern Open, as the world No.76 is now through to the final where she’ll face top-ranked Ashleigh Barty.
Seed No.1 Barty defeated three-time Grand Slam champion Angelique Kerber 6-2 7-5 in a rematch of their Wimbledon semifinal. Barty hit 12 aces and her overall good serving performance earned her some cheap points. Barty’s goal was to neutralise Kerber’s superb returns with good serves.
