World No.1 Ashleigh Barty prematurely ended this tennis season, so I will start my traditional Fashion Retrospections early this year, with an overview of the Australian’s 2021 Fila on-court apparel and shoes.
The first of Barty’s five WTA titles this season came already at the Yarra Valley Classic. At the inaugural tournament, the home favorite sported Fila’s Mad for Plaid collection that was launched at the 2020 French Open.
The collection is unique for its melon, tropical coral and crisp white color palette and the plaid print.
