Willie Gault was one of the fastest college football players ever as a wide receiver for Tennessee from 1979-1982 where he was named an All-American following his senior season. He was one of the fastest NFL players during an 11-year career for the Bears and Raiders, winning a Super Bowl with Chicago in 1985.
The NFL Network named him the sixth-fastest player in NFL history.
At 55, Gault remains fast.
He set world records for the 55+ age group in both the 100- and 200-meters lasy Saturday at the Oxy Invite in Los Angeles.
