Peyton Manning will appear on this Wednesday’s episode of the hit ABC series “Modern Family.” Manning will play the role of “Coach Gary,” a sports tutor hired by “Gloria,” played Sophia Vergara, to tutor her young son “Joe” at sports. With “Coach Gary” in the house, Vergara’s on-screen husband, Jay, played by Ed O’Neill, begins to feel unwanted.
Manning has previously appeared in an episode of “The Simpsons” along with hosting “Saturday Night Live” in 2007 – not to mention his numerous TV commercials which are inescapable.
While Manning’s episode was filmed months ago, he is currently keeping himself busy as a member of the University of Tennessee search committee tasked with finding the school a new athletic director.
