Vols drop second straight game of 2021 season in 52-24 loss to No. 4 Crimson Tide

The Tennessee Volunteers (4-4, 2-3) came into Saturday night’s matchup with the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide (7-1, 4-1) looking to break a 14-game losing streak, which is one of the longest losing streaks to a single opponent in program history.

The Vols weren’t able to end the streak, but they did make things interesting for a little while, which is ultimately what fans asked for at the end of the day. Penalties and very poorly-timed interception ended up costing the Vols a shot at winning the game, but there was still a lot to like and to learn from the 52-24 loss.
