Sad news — former Tennessee defensive end Parys Haralson has passed away at the age of 37. The news came down on Monday night, and Tennessee confirmed shortly after.
No cause of death has been given at this point.
Haralson was a fifth-round selection of the San Francisco 49ers. He went on to play nine seasons in the NFL, spending seven years with the 49ers. Haralson was later hired by the organization as the team’s director of player engagement. He spent his final two seasons in the NFL playing for the New Orleans Saints.
