University of Tennessee sets world record during Today Show’s ‘Rokerthon 3’ segment

The University of Tennessee is officially in the Guinness Book of World Records. A total of 4,223 students, alumni and faculty members gathered on Shield-Watkins Field to form the largest human letter Wednesday morning, a representative from Guinness announced.

According to the rep from Guinness World Records, there were 4,223 people that made up the giant Power T this morning.

The record attempt was part of “Rokerthron 3,” a segment on the Today Show in which Al Roker travels to colleges across the country trying to set world records at each stop.
