The Tennessee Volunteers are beginning to pick up steam on the 2019 recruiting trail as the 2018 football season approaches. Tennessee has recently added two commitments to its 2019 class, moving the Volunteers into a top 10 recruiting ranking nationally from 247sports.com.
Here is a look at the two newest Volunteer commitments.
Offensive Lineman Melvin McBride
The particulars: McBride, (6-foot-4, 315 pounds) from Memphis (TN) Whitehaven, committed to Tennessee on August 22.
The skinny: A three-star prospect, McBride is among the top 15 offensive guard recruits in the country and is also a top 20 overall talent in Tennessee for the 2019 class.
