Recently, the San Francisco Giants fired Bob Melvin and Vitello was linked as a possible candidate to take the job. Wait, what? People didn't think much of that then. However, the Atlanta Braves and Brian Snitker have also parted ways and a recent article from The Athletic has also mentioned Vitello as a name to keep an eye out for.
