It’s football time in Tennessee!
The Volunteers will get their 2019 season rolling this afternoon in Neyland Stadium, facing the Georgia State Panthers. Tennessee is looking to improve on a 5-7 record from last season. They’ll get a tune up game today, ahead of an interesting matchup against BYU next Saturday night.
The Panthers went 2-10 under head coach Shawn Elliott in 2018, ranking near the bottom of the barrel in rushing defense. With Tennessee’s much bigger offensive line this year, this should be a spot where the Vols can make some serious progress this afternoon.
