Leading up to Tennessee football taking on Alabama this weekend, some good news has already arrived for head man Josh Heupel and his coaching staff. Yes, the focus is on 2026 for recruiting, but the Vols have landed their second commit for the 2027 class.
On Wednesday night, Florida cornerback Kamauri Whitfield decided that he doesn't need more time to make his college decision, as he committed to Heupel and Tennessee. Throughout his recruitment, he picked up a total of 26 offers.
Ranked the No. 35 cornerback in the country according to 247Sports, Whitfield chose Tennessee over additional rides from Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Miami and many others.
