You probably hadn’t heard of this guy until a couple days ago. A search through the recruiting databases wouldn’t have turned up much information. You would have found no stars by his name and offers from small schools like Coastal Carolina, Valdosta State and West Virginia State.
That all changed when Tennessee unearthed this hidden gem. The Vols sent out an offer this week and suddenly Auburn, Florida State, Ohio State and others were playing catch up. All of the sudden, he’s listed as a four star recruit on 247 Sports’ database — checking in inside of their new top 200.
