Following a slice of humble pie in a 69-48 blowout loss to the No. 1/2 ranked South Carolina Gamecocks on the road, the No. 23/25 ranked Tennessee Lady Vols are back home. And now, they have another brutal matchup.
Kellie Harper’s team, at 17-5 and 7-2 in SEC play, will host the No. 8 ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs, who are 20-3 and 8-1 in SEC play. This will be another major test for a program trying to restore its powerhouse status.
This is the second of five straight games against teams ranked in either the RPI top 25, the AP top 25 or the Coaches top 25, and three of those games are against teams ranked in all three.
