They have cracked the AP Poll for the first time in the Kellie Harper era thanks to a huge win last week over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Now the Tennessee Lady Vols have to play their first game Tuesday with that ranking beside their name.
UT is set to play the second of a six-game home stand following that win at Notre Dame, their first game being a 73-43 win over the TSU Tigers that got them to 4-0 on the year. This time, they host the Stetson Hatters.
Ranked No. 23 in the AP Poll, Harper’s team could continue to climb the ranks with a fifth win.
