Jeremy Pruitt and his new staff at Tennessee didn’t land that big fish in the 2018 recruiting cycle, despite their best efforts. It was just a matter of being limited with time, at least Tennessee fans hope. All things considered, Pruitt did really well to land a top 20 class after the tumultuous month of November. Toss the the unknown of a brand new early signing period and you really start to respect what this staff was able to accomplish.
With all that being said, the 2019 recruiting cycle has to be different. They’ve got to land a couple of those big time guys.
