For the most part, Rocky Top is ecstatic about National Signing Day. Tennessee football had a huge splash by signing three new recruits to what was already a Top 20 class, making it a Top 12 class by the end of the day.
Considering how many people they lost out on last year and the fact that they came off a 5-7 season Jeremy Pruitt’s first year, there’s no way to ignore how successful that was. And overall, it was indeed a good day for the Vols.
But very rarely is National Signing Day perfect for any team, and Tennessee football still has quite a few issues it needs to resolve.
