It was a predictably exciting first weekend of games for college football. Tennessee football disappointed Rocky Top by getting blown out by the West Virginia Mountaineers, but the rest of the SEC showed out.
This week, things obviously get a little bit easier for the Vols as they get to host the East Tennessee State Buccaneers, an FCS school that just restarted football back in 2015. Perhaps they can join the rest of the SEC by getting a win.
Meanwhile, conference play is beginning this week for a few SEC teams. There are still some really bad games, as Week 2 is a major drop-off from Week 1, but fans still have a lot to look forward to on Saturday.
